PrintSuperVision from OKI Printing Solutions is a web-based software solution for Microsoft Windows networks that provides a wealth of useful network printer management functions. This new tool provides access to networked printer data for monitoring, reporting and managing networked printers. It installs on Microsoft Web Servers - either an Internet Information Server (IIS) or a Personal Web Server (PWS).

With PrintSuperVision, OKI Printing Solutions introduces a new dimension to printer management using just a web browser from your desktop. The software, which is easy to use and intuitive, provides a full range of management functions - not just for our printers but for other brands of printers as well. Use the system to view the real-time status of all your printers to monitor and report printer usage, to manage consumables usage and replenishment and to configure the software to suit your printer management requirements. The user or administrator interface to the system is via a standard web browser. No additional software is required. What's more, you can check on the status of your printers and compatible multi-function devices, whether you are in the same department, the same building, the same country or on the other side of the world - real-time remote printer management.

The online management system helps minimise printer downtime through intelligent monitoring which alerts pre-determined e-mail addressees to replace consumables, paper or advise of a fault. Some typical usage scenarios: The network administrator in a large organisation can get customised daily reports of the status of all his printers including usage reports. User accounts can be configured so that a person in each department can manage their local printers. The system can be set to alert the local user and the administrator of problems. The administrator can manage printers on different sites, looking at a map view to see instantly in graphical view the status of all the printers. Thye can log into the PrintSuperVision system from any client machine, so doesn't have to be at their own desk. The administrator can keep a close track of the costs of the printers including tracking maintenance and callout costs.
